Level II
Asana: A to Zen
Mastery of Asana starts with mastery of Anatomy and alignment. This allows you to fine-tune your student's practice to prevent injury, aid in rehabilitation, and establish individualized protocols for best practices based on individual needs and universal alignment principles. By gaining a strong foundation and understanding of exercise science and current research, you will feel confident in educating your students in a safe, effective, and progressive program. Once a foundation of correct form, alignment, progression of postures, and growth potential is understood, you and your students will feel more free to explore authentic and natural movement in each pose. This opens new pathways that ultimately prevent injury while also gaining freedom to enjoy the practice and ultimately from here learn how to master the art of sequencing and creating innovative, interesting, and fluid vinyasa flows that are unique and meaningful for functional practice and amazing Zen-like results.Ā Ā
